I was disappointed in the ending. I expected there to be an end and not a cliff hanger now i am not sure i would even buy the next book as a result.
I have read the entire series and loved them all. However, at the end of No White Knight, you are just left hanging. Is there going to be a book 9 that finishes the story of Taylor and Mac????
This book is just as good as the rest of the series. I was really bummed that I have to wait to read the rest of their story.

No White Knight is an amazing addition to the Secrets of Stone series! I didn’t think any couple could top my favorite trio in this series, but Angel Payne and Victoria Blue proved me wrong! I absolutely adore Mac and Taylor!

Mac…he really surprised me. I thought he was going to be the a-hole/douchecanoe he was in the prior book, but how he was with Taylor totally changed my mind. His personal tendencies also increased his hotness factor for me. Yowza. His need for her was eye-opening and heartwarming. I completely loved that watching him fall.

Taylor…I love her. I love her wicked sarcasm, her vulnerabilities, her humor, her strength. Don’t get me wrong, she’s not perfect. And I also love that about her. Her relationship with her “sisters” is a beautiful thing, especially considering the women she grants that title to. Additionally, I seriously enjoyed her half-capitulation to Mac.

I don’t think anyone, besides Angel and Victoria, can love Doctor Clown and his Sassy any more than I do. Angel and Victoria, I need the next book like yesterday! Please?! This one is too good!
When Angel Payne and Victoria Blue get together, look out for an amazing adventure!

Taylor is a strong, independent female, with a deep commitment phobia. Her "Southernisms" are funny, and at times, sarcastic.
Mac is a strong, successful neurosurgeon, use to control. His character becomes much more endearing than when he was introduced previously in this series.
The chemistry between Mac and Taylor is palpable. The unraveling of their parents issues has a strong influence in their relationship.
The ending had me screaming for more! I can't wait for the next addition to their story!

This is the first book in the series that I have read and I am planning to go back and read the other 7 books in the series! Since this book is the start of Taylor and Mac's story, you don't need to read the other 7 to get up to date on this couple. However, the previous books are about the other couples that are part of this story and and how they got together.

Taylor has many childhood issues that she puts on a front so that people don't under estimate her. She is the type that would "rather ask for forgiveness than permission". I love that about her and her sassy attitude. She loves her friend and are grateful to have them but she doesn't show them all of who she really is because she doesn't want any sympathy.

Mac Stone is a highly regarded neurosurgeon who first met Taylor when she was at the hospital supporting her friend. Mac wants to get to know Taylor better even she has refused to acknowledge him. Their chemistry is off the charts and even Taylor's friends are pushing her to have a relationship with Mac.

The ensuing story about Taylor and Mac is really fun to read. We get to find out their past and understand why it makes them who they are but also get to see how each of them want to break free of it so they can pursue a deeper relationship with each other. Mac is persistent in his pursuit of Taylor and keeps showing her that he will be there and she can rely on him. Taylor wants that with Mac also but her traumatic childhood gets in the way and her past keeps coming back to haunt her.

I can't wait to find out what will come next for these two people.
